My friend Martin Crumlish (icun) just told me about this awesome new tool he just released today.
When I saw what it could do, I instantly realized the huge potential this has for us offline marketers.
Use this tool to impress potential clients by making video proposals embedded on top of their websites and watch conversions go thru the roof!
I’ll be implemeting this next week…if you try this out, post your results below.
-Peter
Won’t this seriously piss off your potential customer? I mean, I’d be pissed “if I thought someone could overlay whatever they wanted” onto MY website. And how do they know that it’s not going to kill their potential business? I mean, I haven’t checked out Martin’s wso yet, (no time or cash this week) but an unaware owner of a brick and mortar biz is going to be pissed. First reaction I would have if I went to my site and found someone had ‘overlaid’ anything onto my web property. Just sayin’.
Hey Chris…I’m not worried about them getting pissed. If they do that’s fine, they probably wouldn’t be cool to work with anyways. It’s not like we’re hacking it or anything.
Also…it’s not actually their URL…it’s a generated URL from the software!
My thoughts anyways…
Thanks!
-Peter
Yeah, this is a good strategy. What I found funny though is that you were chuckling while watching your video of yourself. Too bad I bought this wso earlier today or I would have bought it through your link. Like the info you share. –Wayne
Thanks Wayne! …I’m having fun with this new webcam in case you can’t tell.
-Peter
Peter,
I definitely would have bought through your link but I am on Martin’s list and got his email around lunchtime EST today…
Tom
No worries Tom….I’m a bit late on this one so it’s my fault for not putting this video together earlier.
Good luck with it!
-Peter
I don’t see the link??
You don’t see the text link below the video?
Do you see any text at all?
Here’s the raw text link:

Let me know!
-Peter
Aw.. I see it now … Thanks
Hey Peter,
Sorry mate, I too am on Martin’s list, but as usual you put together a great little video, and you have given me a great idea.
I am pushing mobile sites at the moment, I have not checked out the script yet but I am thinking using a PDF flyer with a photo of their site on a mobile.
By the way I agree about if a prospect were annoyed with the overlay, sorry but if that is their reaction, I probably don’t want to do business with them anyway.
Hope you have fun with your new toys.
Cheers
Steve
Thanks Steve and no worries!
That would be cool…photoshop their mobile site on the phone screen …Great idea!
I’m really impressed with the stuff Martin puts out and this one is no exception…the possibilities are already making my head spin.

Peter -
This video overlay marketing method is really amazing! One qustion: How can you overlay a video on someone elses website? Just VERY curious about that.
Hey Michael….it doesn’t actually display on their URL (www.standishhouseofpizza.com)…the software generates a new link (http://go-short.me/redir.php?id=646)
So no…people who visit their site will not see the video…only those who click on the generated link will see it.
Hope that explains it better!
-Peter
That looks like a really interesting little trick Peter.. thanks! So basically the software takes the website and it gets ‘underlaid’ below your video-message proposal. So I suppopse the software is showing or playing a snapshot of their website. so it all happens within the software and not on the website.
John
Hey John,
I’m not exactly sure on the technicalities of how it all works, you’d need to ask Martin about that…but your description sounds about right to me!
-Peter
Hate to say this Peter, you look great as an alien!
haha…thanks!
-Peter
Hey Peter,
Cool strategy – thanks for sharing & that’s a great way to pimp this other product!
I think that ‘alien head’ is an improvement for you, hahaha!
Just kiddin’
Thanks for the ideas on my product & I’ll be in touch w you soon, my friend.
Stay warm up there!
-Tony
P.S. I have to make you a new testimonial, ’cause the one you have now makes me look nasty! Lol
Hey Tony…nice to hear from you!
The video testimonial is perfect and I appreciate it
You don’t look “nasty” lmao
-Peter
Hey Peter,
I purchased this through your affiliate link and haven’t received anything from you like you said in your video.
Hey Brian…I send these out manually so sometimes it can take a day or so for me to get out to everyone.
Just sent yours though…check your email
-Peter
Thanks Peter i appreciate it you rock!
Thanks for the demo video. I didn’t give this one a chance until i saw your
video.
look forward to using the codes you used in your demo.
thanks
d
Cool
Make sure you send me an email so I can send you the code.
-Peter
Hi Peter – this is a really great idea! Ok, so I don’t mean to sound dense but how does the potential client receive the link? Are you sending out an email containing the link?
Hey Erika…you could email it to them…however you want to pass it along should work fine.
-Peter
Thanks for the heads up, Peter.
Curious… any idea what kind of CTR Martin’s generated links get?
Maybe I’m totally off base here but it seems like an kind of shortened (bit.ly) type of link would get a tiny open rate when being received ‘blind’ from a total stranger (or company unknown to the biz)?
Am I wrong?
Thanks!
George
Hey George…I have no idea on the CTR for bit.ly links.
One thing you could do is just redirect any other url or page of your choice to the bit.ly link so they never see it before clicking.
Example…I could make http://imrevolver.com/dentist-site redirect to the generated bit.ly link.
-Peter
Hi Peter,
How are you doing? Hope all is well with you and business going great.
I’m just email to ask you if you could please ask Alex the owner of go-short.me to reopen so i can purcahse the software, sorry i left it a bit to late and its has now close on Warrior Forum.
Or of there is a way you can send me the link so that i can buy through you?
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Many Thanks,
Lora
