When you started selling the ready to go websites..did you make any mention of the additional SEO work that they would need to do to see their sites move up in the rankings..?
Or was it more like here you go..add your content and you should should see more customers.
Really working hard on how to position myself on this issue, cause I feel like it’s going to sort of be a tall order to get someone to commit to an ongoing expense for SEO work when they don’t really know you yet..
And are you using Google places at all these days..? If so..how are you selling it..maybe as more of a bonus or addon..?
I’d sell them the site but make sure they know up front that they aren’t guaranteed google rankings and if the site doesn’t get rankings with just on site SEO they will need to invest in an SEO campaign in the future.
Most businesses understand this if you explain it to them.
